Philips Hue Motion Sensor Review

What is the Hue motion Sensor?

The Philips Hue motion sensor is a great addition to your Philips hue system. It connects to your Hue lights via your Hue Bridge. All of this is the controlled via an app on your phone. Within the app you change change what happens when the motion sensor is triggered when motion is detected. You can select what "scene" or group of lights should be turned on. The lights automatically dim and turn off after a defined period of time where motion is no longer detected.

There is also the day and night mode, which really made Hue stand out over competitors at the time of release. With the day and night mode it is possible to set different light settings for day and night. During the day, the sensor could be set to trigger cool white light to help you see better. At night, it could be set to turn on a soft glowing night light for when you or others in the house have to navigate around at night. The night mode could provide you with enough light to safely navigate the house but not disturb others.
